Hi Ara,

The disadvantage is only a perceived one and as far as I know unproven one. Basically, the idea is that if all your accounts are traced back to one email account then it could be said that you are using social bookmarking for promoting your own sites and not for what it was intended.. Covering your tracks with many email accounts is probably good practice.

What is the disadvantage if I use only one email for different social bookmarking sites? I admit, I am registered to 26 bookmarking sites and I am using only 1 email account for all of them.

I saw in a couple of places that Google has started to lessen the backlink value of bookmarking sites. I honestly don't know exactly how to specifically check that, but I can't believe that the links would/could ever not be helpful.

Hi Marvio, no I am not giving exact numbers of accounts you should have. It is something you can do over time and of course the more accounts you have the better but so long as it is still manageable. This is why bookmarking demon is so good.

Hi Mike, thanks for that and it pleases me that you are getting something from this. Testing, tweaking and tracking your adsense income from each block is the key to success so long as your niche is good and the traffic is adequate.

I just purchased "Bookmarking Demon" from you link above so you could get the affiliate commission. It's the least I could do for all that you are sharing. I spent this weekend reading and re-reading this blog and the free report you can get from the Bookmarking Demon website.

What you are doing Steve makes so much sense! I have a couple of blogs that I have started to pay more attention to now. I got all the plugins that you suggested. Most of them I already had. I know html and am very good with php and I have tweaked my sites, but I have to say that the monetization part has eluded me until now. I understand the importance of keyword research and using long tail keywords, but I never thought that with a little more work I can have a site that pulls in some good money.

One of my blogs had Adsense on it and I changed it over to promoting other things. I just switched it back to Adsense today. Let's see if it works better this time.

Are you suggesting 50 email accounts for each bookmark site and then submit to that site a differing blend of pages and 3rd party pages from each email account. If so, should this be done slowly over a period of time?
