Author: Today, I have been thinking about branding mainly and also I have been considering how I am going to start this. I feel the best way is to start small with perhaps just one or two categories and then grow the site organically over time into more and more categories.
I have been considering starting the site by concentrating on IPhone’s, IPad’s and apps initially. Mainly because I own these already and it is easy to access the apps. I will then expand my categories and grow the site as my readership and following increase. This feels like the best way of approaching things to be honest and means I can invest more and more time and money as the site grows.
The branding has to reflect this organic growth as well and I don’t want to typecast the site if it just concentrates on Apple products.
Brainstorming for a brand name is hard and I am feeling slightly jaded as I plod through dozens of cheesy names that pop into my head. This part of the process might take a bit longer than I had envisaged, it is hard finding something professional, non-cheesy and that plagiarises an existing site. Oh well, back to the drawing board!
